On a discovery tour with a rental bike
Rent one of our bikes at our rental location Keukenhof and find out while making a bike tour where the Flowerbulb area is well-known for in the whole world. You can use a standard bike, of which is also a child version available. For an extra experience it is possible to rent a tandem or a cargo bike. There is even an option for a tandem that can be used by an adult and a child (minimum height 1m15) . Because of the extra space you can take a child, a dog or a bag with you in a cargo bike.
We do recommend to only rent a special item if you have got enough cycling experience with a regular bike, or possibly already with the special type of bike. In all cases it is at your own judgement if you would like to rent a bike helmet, because this is not required in the Netherlands. Are you going to cylce with young children, then you can consider a bike with childtrailer or a childseat attached to your bike.
Our well maintained bikes are very suited for making long bike tours. We provide a route map with every rental bike, on which four possible bike routes (with colours) are mentioned. These are different in length and duration. For someone who likes it better, you can install the route-app on your phone. Please don’t forget to rent a phone holder in that case, cause in the Netherlands it is not allowed to cylce with your phone in your hand. For questions and advise you can always contact us.
