Flower fields, dykes & polders

After you first have ridden along the estate Keukenhof with the castle of the same name you get to the former railway station of Lisse. In this building you can now find the restaurant Tussenstation. After passing the village Halfweg you cycle along different blossoming flower fields. The viewing point Tespelduyn, where you can also find a restaurant and golf course with the same name, is highly recommended. From the top you have a great view of the fields: a perfect moment for a photo.

After passing a viaduct you continue your way along splendid flower fields. While you cycle on in the direction of De Zilk you keep enjoying coulourful bulb fields. If you like, you can visit on this part of the route The Tulip Experience Amsterdam at de Delfweg. This attraction is completely dedicated to all aspects of the tulip.

Just before Hillegom you take the turn to cycle back to the flower park Keukenhof. During this part of the route you will again see impressive flower fields.
